I read somewhere that there are a small number of known species that successfully mate for life. they didn’t mention humans, but swans made the list. make no mistake, I know I’m no gorgeous, long necked bird, but this ugly duckling stage reportedly won’t last forever. eventually, they say, the duck grows up. & I’m kinda hoping you’ll be watching then too.
